Helping people find their way to the life that fits them since 1996
What motivated me to study gestalt psychotherapy and to become a working therapist is the way the role of a therapist is conceived in gestalt theory. I do not make brilliant interpretations about you, give condescending advice to you, or consider myself to be the expert of you. Instead, my job is to work in dialogue with you to guide you, my equal partner in this endeavor, to a deeper awareness of your life experience, so that you can make adult choices and decisions from that new awareness.
Becoming a gestalt therapist was one of the best decisions I ever made. Working with hundreds of clients in the way that I do has added enormous meaning to my life.
Identity shifts can be difficult.
